DLD@CEC 2020 in Portland Oregon

DLD had a wonderful time in Portland! Thank you to everyone who made this trip a success! We have shared a few highlights below.
DLD Winter Executive Board Meeting: During our board meeting we spent the majority of our time working on DLD’s strategic plan! We were able to discuss our vision and action steps for moving forward.
DLD Annual Business Meeting: During our Business Meeting we had the honor of presenting several awards to individuals who make a difference in the lives of students with Learning Disabilities. Read more about our award winners HERE. We also shared about our new website, DLD@Night in Long Beach, California, and goals for our strategic plan.
Reception and Student Poster Session: DLD collaborated with DDEL to present 12 student posters this year. We had a wonderful time at the DLD reception and it was so nice to see our DLD members from across the nation.
DLD Showcase: DLD past presidents shared Foundational Principles of Practice for working with students who have Learning Disabilities.
