Special Alert
Members of the Division for Learning Disabilities should log
into the Members-Only side of TeachingLD.org and vote for officers
and a change to the DLD consitution. Read the candidates' statements
and the description of the change, then vote on line. It's easy,
fast, and secure. Submit your ballot before 30 April 2007.

If you need help with your userid or password so that you can log
in and vote, please contact CEC directly. Call CEC's Constituent Services
Center toll free at (888) 232-7733 [TTY (703) 264-9446] and ask the
operator to look up your membership number (which is the same as your
user login).
Members who do not wish to vote electronically may contact John Lloyd
(434 924-0759) for paper voting instructions.

clarifications of her statements about half of students in special
education only appearing to have disabilities and her wish "special
education would go away."

The Division for Learning Disabilities Board of Directors has approved
a motion to support the equivalent of the cost of five professional

Accessing the Members-Only Section

you're already a member of DLD and need your CEC member ID or password
so that you can enter the members-only sections of TeachingLD.org, here's
how to get help. Call CEC's Constituent Services Center toll free at (888)
232-7733 [TTY (703) 264-9446] and ask the operator to look up your membership
number (which is the same as your user login). If you do not know your
password, call CEC's Constituent Services Center at the number above and
provide your name, CEC ID#, mailing address, and daytime phone number.
For security purposes and to protect your privacy, CEC must verify your
member record information before your password can be released to you.
